Do some calve raise with a 2 by 4 beneath your heal. Lift up on your toes. It help if you have counterbalance on your shoulders. Be aware though you need to work this over several reps over several weeks or you could hurt your calves. Expect some cramping so be primed with rime or what ever you use. I know a short 5'2 guy who could dunk, he trained lower legs to jump difficult using this method. 20 reps 3 x once a day for 2 weeks.
I hope this help with the jump higher. When my husband played basketball, he would wear ankle weights in the past a game, later jump up and down. This get his legs use to jumping near extra weight.     I've never run a marathon, but I know a great approach to prepare for anything is to visualize yourself acomplishing it. It's called creative visualization. If you can see yourself doing it, you plant that thought surrounded by your subconcious. Then, your subconcious moves it to your concious mind and it eventually becomes truth. It's also a great way to focus.
    Also, try philosophical breathing. I'm not sure if you are familiar near the technique but take surrounded by a deep breath thorugh your snout, and then exhals through you snout but via your throat. It makes a almost a growling nouns. It takes practice, but it's a great passageway to calm your body and become focused.
    Get a moral rest and eat integral slow oats in the morning.

    Whilst I don't contemplate that there are any exercises that target a specific nouns of the body I would thoroughly recommend gym classes such as body pump and spinning. Body pump is a fun class which targets most muscle groups - the legs, chest, biceps, triceps, shoulders and hindmost and the stomach. Spinning for me also incorporates the much needed cardio exercise. My body shape has changed dramatically contained by the year Ive been doing these classes and I'm much firmer. Try good carbs for the two night before gymnastics and afterwards eat low sugar fruit the daytime of so you dont crash

A good windbreaking suit is an asset because it will prevent the crisscross from cooling you down dramatically. Make sure that u wear a toque of somesort and always hold your feet and collar dry...thats a big one. Hope this helps.
    Depending on where on earth you are working out...I would remove as much of the sweaty clothes as possible. Nothing makes you colder than sweaty drizzling clothes. If you can't change for some pretext, bring lots of layers...long sleeve t-shirt, hoodie, Wind pant or loose pants to fit over your shorts/tights and later some outer clothes like a coat head covering gloves and earmuffs. Don't forget the kleenex...working out always give me a runny nose, especially if I jump outside afterwards. Hope this helps.

    There are always workout gym machines, etc. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that that it should be as simple as diet and sit-ups. Vary your exercise though, focusing on all aspects of the body, a moment ago to keep the body guessing.

    Well for me Pilate's is the best workout for your abs. I have winsor Pilate's accelerate workout and I've notice a difference, my body is more toned. But as you would expect i do another exercise as well, because Pilate's burns little calories its biddable to do another cardio exercise with i,t to get hold of better and faster results.
